Jesolo has the Blue Flag 2022 for its beaches.

Jesolo obtained, for the 19th consecutive year, the sought-after Blue Flag for the beaches.

This year, as it has been happening since 2004, the International Committee that analyses and evaluates the environmental characteristics data of the competing cities, has decided that Jesolo is perfectly in line with the restrictive environmental requirements that should be observed in order to obtain the famous Blue Flag.

The FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), the international organization that assigns the Blue Flag, does not only check the quality of the swimming waters, but also many other environmental performances data of the city such as the quality and efficacy of the separate wastes collection, biological treatment capacity of the wastewaters, presence of pedestrian areas and cycling lanes, right balance between tourism activities, and respect for nature.

Moreover, to obtain the Blue Flag it is necessary to ensure quality services (life saving, toilet facilities, and beach cleaning), initiatives of environmental education for the tourists, residents, and especially young people, as well as ensuring the use of the beach also to disabled persons.

Along the beach of Jesolo, in proximity of the promenade, there will be posted – from 1 June to 15 September – some panels realised in accordance with FEE provisions, on which the data relative to the swimming waters quality will be reported and continuously updated, so that every tourist can swim being fully aware and comfortable.

Having obtained the Blue Flag is not something extemporary, but instead it is the result of an environmental policy realised with rationality and continuity. Only this way it is possible to achieve and consolidate those excellent results, which valorise the territory and qualify a city that opens its doors to guests that seem more and more careful in minimising the environmental impact of their holidays.

During the summer, the Municipality of Jesolo organizes many events to entertain the tourists.

Among these, there are antiques markets, sport events such as the "Moonlight Half Marathon", culinary events to discover local dishes and traditions, and many others.
