Our story begins in 1969, when Roberto Cavallin had the Hotel Cavalieri built with the dream of creating a landmark facility for Lido di Jesolo, which was in those years establishing itself as a prestigious seaside resort.
From the very beginning, the Cavalieri Palace Hotel has distinguished by the elegance of the environment, the excellent cuisine and the quality of services, undoubtedly state-of-the-art: first hotel in Jesolo to have heated pool, sauna and air conditioning in the rooms, the Cavalieri Palace has immediately captivated the most demanding and detail-oriented clientele.
Mr. Cavallin ran the hotel with his family until 1983, when for health reasons he was forced to give up the business. For a couple of seasons the management passed to the Olivetti family, which was then succeeded by the Sun Club company.
In 1986 the business was taken over by the Vacanze in Erre group, which chose me, Antonio Vigolo, as director. Since that time and even more so since I took over direct management of the house in 1998, my task has been to take up the challenge of leading the prestigious Hotel Cavalieri Palace while respecting its tradition and personality. With this background and in the belief that it is the small details that make the difference between an ordinary reception and an unforgettable stay, my efforts have been directed primarily at the attention to detail to be able to assure guests of the courtesy and helpfulness of qualified staff, refined cuisine of recognized quality, and excellence in service.
50 years later its birth I look at the Cavalieri Palace with pride, because in its transformations has never lost its vocation for a welcome that puts the guest at the center of attention and still proves to be, season after season, a sought-after destination and meeting place for those who have felt at home here for generations.
